Kokanee and Rainbow Trout Fishing Report BC | Productive 3-Day Lake Adventure

A couple of local anglers shared this fishing report with BC Fish Gear after spending three days exploring three different BC lakes. Fishing was excellent while the weather remained calm and sunny, with the bite slowing noticeably once colder temperatures and stronger winds moved into the area.

Despite the changing conditions, the trip was a success. The anglers landed and retained 10 Kokanee and also enjoyed an exciting catch-and-release encounter with an impressive 8-pound Rainbow Trout. Most of the action came while fly fishing, providing plenty of memorable moments on the water.

As always, stable weather conditions appeared to produce the best results, making timing an important factor for anglers targeting Kokanee and Rainbow Trout this season.
